This establishment is run by the Twelve Tribes “organization”, a cult with branches all over the world who believe in children subservience and physical abuse with the “rod of iron”. First hand accounts and interviews can be accessed via the internet and YouTube as well as documentaries. Here, those who were former members relive the stories; everything from hearing their siblings being beat for anywhere from 30 minutes to 8 hours, to how babies were not allowed to cry during service, or their tiny hands were outstretched, and beat with a thin rod until it bled. I don’t care what the food tastes like.

Simple bakery and cafe in a colonial home setting. Some traditional comfort desserts and some new items like carob nuts and dried fruits. Carob brownies are also good to try if you're in the mood for something different. The service was pleasent and courteous. The drinks were also well made. My favorite was the iced hibiscus with orange juice. Super tasty while also being hydrating.

Excellent baked goods, coffee, and sandwiches. Staff are very friendly. Baked goods are consistently excellent, and range from pies, bread, and muffins. Interior is very nice, with not a lot of seating but small tables for enjoying coffee both inside and on the porch. Situated between the waterfront and Court/Main streets. Great place to stop for a bite after antiquing!

This might just be the cutest little bakery you've seen. Not only is the bread great and the smoothies spectacular but the building itself is just beautiful. Whatever you're doing, you need to stop in here. You wont regret it. Plus they sell shampoo and conditioner stuff too which is cool.

Love breakfast here!!! Every time we are nearby we make it a point to stop here The food and coffee are delicious and the service is phenomenal. The dining room is beautiful and if the weather is nice, we sit in the porch. I would suggest taking at least 2 loaves of bread home, or you will wish you had. This is my favorite place to eat in Plymouth.

I would give this bakery more stars if I could! I wish the prices were a little lower, but the service, the atmosphere, and the food was well worth the expense! The building is beautiful! I love all of the paintings on the walls and the cute little tables to sit at! We wanted to be here for a much longer time than just breakfast! Oh, and when they bring your food out to you there's always fruit on the side! It makes the look of the food pretty, but it's also very tasty and cleansing! Definitely plan to go back if I'm ever in the neighborhood again!

Traveled from Maryland to Boston for Thanksgiving. First time at Blue Blinds Bakery and is open on Thanksgiving. This place is awesome! Cosy environment, great service, kind and respectful staff. Cheesecake was delicious, coffee was on point. Tight space due to popularity. Definitely recommend!

Blue Blinds Bakery is a wonderful little bakery. The inside of the bakery feels like you are in an old home and they usually have a fire going in the winter. The coffee is reasonably priced and they have a few different choices. I really like the fact that they give you a glass cup if you get your order for here. In the summer they have a nice porch where you can sit outside and eat your food. The staff is very friendly and always seem to go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied and comfortable. The only thing I will say is that they use all natural ingredients so some of the baked goods don't taste as sugary as you might expect. But I really enjoy the food at Blue Blinds as well as the atmosphere.

Great food, great service. Staff are always friendly and welcoming in this relaxed, cozy environment. Two fireplaces increase the homey feel and provide extra warmth in the winter. Highly recommend giving it a try.

My group of friends and I stopped in for a late breakfast and everything was delicious! From the eggs on toast and french toast, to the breakfast yogurt the portions sizes and flavors were perfect. This is a converted house so seating inside will be a challenge for groups bigger than 4 but it's worth the stop.

First time there great food

Excellent bakery in the beautiful historic downtown Plymouth area! Everything is fresh and homemade, we tried various cookies, brownies, turnovers, even iced tea(!) and enjoyed them all. Plenty of seating even for our large group, and a clean beautiful bathroom. Highly recommend!

We stopped by for dessert on New Years Day 2020. The apple and peach pie slices were delicious. We also had cheesecake which was amazing. We tried the hibiscus fruit cooler, and the flavor was delicious. Good sized portions and their prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!
